Grundy County area church briefs

Patriot Day prayer, memorial service

On Monday, Sept. 11, at the Grundy County Courthouse from noon to 1:30 p.m., join us as pastors, leaders and elected officials from across Grundy County come together in praying for our community, our churches, our leaders, our families, our schools, our military, our children and our business.

The theme this year is “Pray!” and the scripture is Joel 1:14.

Bring your lawn chairs and join us. If it rains, we will move to the Living Water Nazarene Church at 118 E. Jefferson St. (Old Morris Theater).

For information call the Grundy County coordinator, the Rev. Richard Giovannetti, at 815-942-3758.
