PONTIAC – A 21-year-old Dwight man could be in prison until he is 40 years old following a conviction on drug delivery charges Thursday in Pontiac.

A Livingston County judge sentenced Anthony Bauer, 21, of Dwight, to 20 years in prison Thursday. Bauer pleaded guilty to several controlled substance delivery charges, according to a Facebook post from the Dwight Police Department.

Bauer was arrested in March 2017 on multiple drug delivery charges and unlawfully possessing a firearm, as part of a Dwight Narcotics Unit active investigation. Bauer's girlfriend at the time, Jenna Demos, was also arrested during the investigation and faced a drug delivery charge. She has since pleaded guilty as well.

The Livingston County Pro-Active Unit, Dwight Police Department, Dwight K-9 Unit, Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, Joliet Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad and the Livingston County States Attorney’s Office assisted the Dwight Narcotics Unit with the investigation.
